About the Aberdeen Santa Run 5K
The Aberdeen Santa Run 5K Fun Run/Walk is back for its second year in 2026! What started as a new community event in 2025 is returning with plans for 300 Santas to take over Wylie Park this December.
The Santa Run is designed for everyone. You don’t need to be a runner or an athlete to participate. Run it, walk it, bring your family and friends, dress like Santa and enjoy a fun holiday experience together.
What is a Santa Run?
A Santa Run is a festive holiday tradition where participants dress in Santa suits and other holiday costumes to run or walk a designated course together. Santa Runs bring people of all ages and abilities together to celebrate the holiday season and support the local community.
There’s also nothing quite like seeing hundreds of Santas running and walking together!
Why Wylie Park?
Wylie Park provides a beautiful setting for the Aberdeen Santa Run while allowing us to host the 5K in a safe and manageable location without closing city streets.
The 3.1-mile course starts and finishes within Wylie Park, giving participants plenty of room to run, walk and enjoy the holiday atmosphere.
Our Mission
The Aberdeen Santa Run is about bringing people together, celebrating the holiday season and giving back to our community.
For 2026, proceeds from the Aberdeen Santa Run will benefit Warner Public School Athletics, supporting student-athletes and athletic programs in the Warner community.
Our goal is to continue growing the Santa Run each year and make it an annual holiday tradition in Aberdeen.
